Baby John Movie Review: Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh's Baby John Review in Telugu: Bollywood young hero Varun Dhawan's latest movie is Baby John. Salman Khan played a special role in this. Keerthy Suresh made her debut in the Hindi industry with this movie. Vamika Gabbi is another heroine. This is the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Theriky directed by Atlee starring Thalapathy Vijay. After Shahrukh Khan's Jawan, director Atlee gained popularity in Hindi. With that, his wife produced the movie under his presentation and Kalesh directed it. How is this remake? Let's see...

Baby John Movie Story

John D'Silva (Varun Dhawan) is a single parent. He has a daughter Khushi (Baby Zara Zyanna). He drops his baby at school in the morning and then takes care of the chores at the bakery. John is very shy. He doesn't say a word to the other person. He doesn't even know how to get angry.

Why did the IPS officer Satya, who was attacked by rowdy mobs in Mumbai, change his name and settle in Kerala as John? Why was there a war between Nanaji (Jackie Shroff) and Satya? What happened to Satya's wife Meera (Keerthy Suresh)? What is the connection between Nanaji and the missing girls cases in the city? What did Satya do when he returned to duty? You should know this by watching the movie. What did Agent Bhai John (Salman Khan) do in this story? This is the ending twist.

Baby John Movie Analysis

A remake means that the first thing that movie lovers and some viewers notice, along with celebrities in the film industry, is the changes - additions!? Hero Varun Dhawan also said that changes were made before the release of 'Baby John'. If you look at the movie... from the pre-climax to the climax action sequence, nothing much has been changed except adding a guest role.

It's been eight years since Thalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' (released in Telugu as 'Police') was released. By then, the taste of the audience has changed. Now, even the directors and writers are trying to tell the story in a new way. But, 'Baby John' director Kalis played a safe game. Vijay has mostly copied and pasted 'Theri' like a piece of paper. Frame to frame, scene to scene... including the camera angles. In the love story - heroine & hero mother scenes - at least some of the dialogues have not been changed. No attempt has been made to write anything new. Therefore, there are no new elements in the film that the South audience will feel.

'Theri' aside, how is 'Baby John'? When it comes to it... It is a masala film with mass and commercial elements like love, action, and comedy. There are many chances that the North audience will feel new because of the Kerala setting and Mumbai touch. There are elements in this film that will please the commercial movie lovers there, like 'Baby John'. Especially Thaman's music. Thaman re-recorded it in his own style instead of following the Bollywood music style. His RR went on to give the audience a 'high' in the action sequences. The North audience will definitely like it. Kiran Kaushik's camera work and Ruben's editing are suitable for a commercial movie.

Varun Dhawan played the role of bakery man John D'Silva, IPS officer Satya... He showed the difference between the two shades. He looked more comfortable in a khaki shirt than in long hair and lungi. He put in one hundred percent effort. He did well with his character. Keerthy Suresh played a Malayali girl. She looked dignified and methodical, befitting the role. She wore glamorous dresses in one song. Vamika Gabbi's screen space is less. Her presence is good as long as she is. Rajpal Yadav excels in serious scenes other than comedy.

Actors Performance:

Jackie Shroff is the artist who scores the most marks among all the artists in 'Baby Jaan'. The villainy he showed in the role of Nanaji is good. Even though Salman Khan made a fuss for a while at the end... the action sequence was designed to give a 'high' to the mass audience. Khushi, who played the hero's daughter, did well.

Baby Jaan... is new to the Bollywood audience. Not to the South audience though. They have seen these types of films. Even in that, since it is a remake of 'Theri', it is difficult to please the Tamil and Telugu audience. Even in terms of the Bollywood audience... the action sequences and Thaman's music are pleasing. Sorry Jaan to the North people who want routine mass commercial films... Sorry, this is 'Baby Jaan'.

The Hindi dubbed version of 'Theri' is already on YouTube. If the story is remade with Varun Dhawan (Varun Dhawan Baby John Review)... will the audience come to the theaters? Does he have that much stardom in North India? I don't think the directors and producers thought of this in advance! Behind the successes of 'Theri' in Tamil and 'Jawan' in Hindi are Thalapathy Vijay and Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. Their image and stardom have helped the films. How did Atlee miss that logic? Keerthy Suresh should do another film for a hit in Hindi.
